YUMMY MONDAYS: STRAWBERRY - ORANGE SMOOTHIE


This beautiful deep pink smoothie is filled with a days worth of vitamin C !!!!


Serves 2



1 1/2 cups vanilla soymilk
   2    cups  (one 10-ounce bag) frozen unsweetened strawberries, partially thawed
   1 medium banana, cut into chucks
  1/3  cup   calcium-enriched orange juice
Honey, to taste, if desired


Place the soymilk, strawberries, banana, and orange juice in a blender.  Cover and blend on high for about 1 minute, or until smooth.  
Sweeten to taste with honey.


Pour into 2 glasses.  Serve immediately.



Per serving, Calories: 195, Protein: 6 g, Carbs: 39 g, Fiber: 5 g, Total Fat: 3 g, Saturated Fat: 0 g,
Cholesterol: 0 g, Calcium: 308 mg, Sodium: 131 mg.

Chalene, I just came across your blog and YAY! I'll be sure to check it out often. This smoothie recipe sounds delish, I shall try it immediately. I made one today - kinda winged it with fresh banana, mango, nonfat yogurt, cinnamon, honey and ice. My son and I had to tussle over it, it was so good.
Anyway, I have just started your Turbo Jam workouts and am loving them. I can't say enough about how much I am loving it. That, and the outtakes and behind the scenes footage of you all - silly, down to earth and REAL. Nothing discourages me more than those fitness experts who are plastic, "perfect" and fake. You keep it real, girl. THANK YOU for that! I'm feeling great and dropping weight. I have a long way to go yet, but I have no intention of giving up this time.

This Looks Super Yummy!!!

I would like to know if I could use peaches instead of bananas,and if so how many should I use?

I like fresh bananas but not in the form of a smoothie,pudding,or anything banana flavored.

I just Started your Turbo Jam Maximum Results Program and I Love it! In only 5 workouts I've lost a total of 4lbs and 8 inches.

I was headed on a downward spiral
with stress eating do to depression and, as a result I'm 60 plus pounds over weight. I can't live like this anymore.

I am so thankful for the workouts that you have created. I believe that I can stick with it to get some super awesome results.
