ChaLEAN Extreme Results equal Weight Loss, Fat loss and Metabolism Boost


A picture says a thousand words...

I worked with all of the people in these photos for 90 days. They live in my area, have kids on my kid's sports teams, one is my assistant, some are neighbors, they are people just like you and me...busy and not sure how they woke up and found themselves "overweight" one day.
Some of them weren't even really overweight, just had belly fat and body fat to lose.
These are 100 % untouched. The real deal. Baby scars included. Aren't they beautiful?? And guess what... they STILL look like this! Why? They still do ChaLEAN Extreme. How do I know...I already told you... I see 'em all the time.

Some people know me as a women's fitness clothing and apparel designer with Turbo Wear, or the owner of Powder Blue Productions. But most people know me as the creator of Turbo Kick, a kickboxing and cardio dance infusion program that I designed for some of the world's largest health clubs over 12 years ago (and still kickin'!) The instructors who certified through Turbo Kick made that workout so popular that those classes lead to the demand for more! In 2005 we brought Turbo Kick to the consumer in the form of Turbo Jam! You may have seen the infomercial :)

I started out as a personal trainer though! My goal was to help people lose weight, feel great and most importantly strike a balance in their life. So, though I'm most well known for my cardio programs, I've long been someone who believed in the benefits of strength training. But see... I hit my late 30's and things seemed to be slowing down. It was driving me crazy. I felt like my own metabolism just wasn't where it should be. I started doing some research. I looked at science. I read the clinical studies and every report I could get my hand. I ignored what was being toted in popular grocery story health and fitness magazines and wanted to see the science. What came out of that is a program Beachbody has named ChaLEAN Extreme.

It works. These are just some of the photos of the 70 test participants who became the undeniable proof that muscle does burn fat.

So, with ChaLEAN Extreme, you don't recommend cardio at all? Or does the program incorporate cardio?

Whoa! Not at all what I'm saying... you have to do cardio and you have to build muscle. You have to do both! What's the best cardio....Turbo Jam/Kick of course! Actually, the truth is the best cardio is the one you'll put the most into! ChaLEAN Extreme has 4 cardio DVD"s included, for those who want something a bit more atheltic than Turbo Jam or Turbo Kick. However, those who love Turbo Jam (or whatever cardio they have fallen in love with) should stick with what they love. Do what you enjoy. Haven't found something you enjoy...keep looking. It's out there!

To summarize... you have to lift and lift heavy a minimum of 3x a week. You also need to do cardio. I wish people would do cardio 6x a week for the mental health benefits, but 5x a week is ideal for optimal health and obtaining weightloss goals!

how heavy is heavy...? I am up to 9 lbs in the Booty Sculpt video :-) and 8-9 in Turbo Sculpt :-D ... I may be able to do 10.

I thought it was a combo, but was just a little confused. Thanks for clearing that up! Oh--I've been using Turbo Jam for a year now & it's totally changed my body & my outlook on exercise. Thanks!

Hi Carlean.. I just did Turbo Jam Pump,Kick,Jam for the first timt today. I was excited then while I was trying to follow moves I started to get really disappointed.
It was way way too fast. Even though I was following Mindy I still couldn't keep up. I didn't show me the instructional part for the new moves.. Am I missiing something or is it just me?

Annonymous did you do the "learn and burn" until you were comfortable with the moves? If
you have not done that then you should. Those are the main steps and if there are other moves in the exercises that you can't get, you should (before your actual work out) just keep rewinding that one part until you get it. That is what I did when I was first learning. In my opinion the regular workouts shouldn't be any slower or it would not be a workout.

I am ending my first week fo the Burn Circuit Phase of ChaLean Extreme.

First off, thank you so much for these wonderful videos that I am getting addicted to. Also,for all the motivation you pack in to each video.

I have Tubo Jam and one of these days will order you Hip Hop Hustle -- it just looks so fun!!

Hey Chalean, Earlier you said that we should do at least 5 days of cardio a week, if not 6. However, CE doesn't incorporate this much cardio into the work out (at least not to my knowledge so far in the Burn Phase). Should I be tacking on a short cardio video (maybe like the TurboJam 20 minute workout) before the Burn Phases. PS - I LOVE Burn Intervals even though it kicks my butt. :)

I recently complete all three phases of the chalean extreme program and an currently half way through the LEAN FOR LIFE phases. ALl I can say is that this program is amazing! I have absolutely loved all of the phases and my body has changed in ways that I never thought possible! I am a 36 year old mother of 2 who never thought that I would ever wear a bikini again and after Chalean Extreme I am in the best shape of my life. I am back down to a weight that I was in high school and my 20's! My muscles are lean and evident and my belly is flat! By far the greatest thing that I have done for myself in a long time!! Everyday, people ask me what I am doing and how they can do it. I have recommended CHALEAN EXTREME to many friends and acquaintences and will definitely continue to do so!!!

damaranicole, with the routines it gives you 2 days off, I also use the first rest day to do turbo jam. For the Burn month this is what my routine looks like
Sunday - Burn 1 & Fat Burn Challenge
Monday- Turbo Jam
Tuesday - Burn 2 & Burn It Off
Wednesday - (every 2nd week) Burn Intervals (weeks in between) Lean Intervals and add your choice of ab workout
Thursday - Burn 3 & Recharge
Friday - Turbo Jam
Saturday - Rest

Hope that helps.

I am starting week 6 and love the program. However, I have very muscular large legs that have always been large and are very strong. I was worried about bulking up but I have been trying to have faith. My clothes have been fitting tighter in the thighs and now, starting week 6, they are getting really tight in the thighs. My diet has not changed at all. I am wondering if I should quit the program? Any thoguhts.

I am also cursed (at least I think so) with thick athletic thighs! There are only 2 things that have ever worked well for me in balancing out bulk: good old fashioned running, and pilates. you might what to try incorporating one or both of those into your workouts. Best of luck!

I am 54 and have gone thru menapause. I am on my 3rd week of ChaLEAN Extreme, and are starting to get concerned. I have a waist of about 38" and seem to be gaining muscle on top of the stomach flab and muscle on top of my already flab/muscular legs. My clothes are fitting a bit tighter too. I love your routines and I would like to continue the program if maybe you could give me a way to modify it to lose the inches. Thank you for your help.
